Guidelines & Posting Process
Local organizations, youth groups, and community partners may share flyers about activities such as camps, educational programs, sports, and community events. Cary School District 26 provides this space as a service to families to help connect them with opportunities in our community. Flyers are shared with all D26 families via ParentSquare on Fridays.

Organizations interested in sharing information through the D26 Community Events must receive approval from Cary School District 26 and comply with Board Policy 8:25.
To submit a flyer for consideration:

All materials must be submitted electronically as a PDF.

The PDF file should be labeled with the organization name and a brief description of the activity.

Flyers must clearly include:

The sponsoring organization

Contact information
-
The grade level(s) the activity is intended for

A statement identifying the event as a “Non-School Sponsored Activity.”

All submissions are reviewed by the district before being posted. To be considered:

Events must be sponsored by nonprofit or not-for-profit organizations or intergovernmental agencies.

Activities must take place within the Cary community or surrounding area.

Requests must be submitted at least seven (7) business days prior to the event to allow time for review.

Approved flyers will be posted on Fridays.

Organizations will be notified by email if their flyer is approved or denied.

Approved flyers will remain posted for a minimum of one month or until the event date has passed.
